A tiny dome observatory with a warm lit window perched among icy mountains on Pluto, beneath a starry sky with a distant companion moon.

Nova from Pluto

From quarks to cosmos.

A little observatory. An enormous universe. And a thousand stories we haven't imagined yet.

Follow the starlight

Once, in our imagining

A curious little light at the edge of everything.

In the story we're telling together, there's a tiny observatory on Pluto, and inside it lives Nova — an imaginary companion with a telescope, a warm lamp, and a very long list of questions.

From out here the Sun is just a bright star. Nova watches it anyway, scribbling into a notebook: What are quarks dreaming about? How big is big? Is there a snack at the end of the universe?

Hello, Dan and Audrey — the notebook is open, the boots are by the door, and every scale from the very small to the very vast is waiting to be wondered about.

Home on Pluto

Home, at the edge of the map

Lamplight on old star charts, a brass telescope pointed outward, cocoa going cold beside a notebook. A warm refuge for very big questions.

Inside the cozy observatory: a brass telescope aimed through the open dome, star charts on curved walls, a glowing lantern, a steaming mug and an open notebook of sketches.

The adventures ahead

Postcards from places that might be, each one waiting to be daydreamed a little further.

A painted brass balloon drifting through golden clouds beneath a soft hazy sun.

Chapter I

Under Venus's amber skies

An afternoon adrift in golden haze, sketching clouds that glow like honey and wondering what the wind is humming about.

Open Nova's notebook

Day one in the balloon. The clouds here are the colour of warm toast, and they keep rearranging themselves whenever I try to draw them.

I tied a ribbon to the basket to see which way the wind goes. It went every way at once, then curled back as if it wanted to say hello.

Question for later: if a cloud glows like honey, does it taste like it too? Note to self — pack a bigger spoon next time.

Three tiny storybook adventurers — a knight, a wizard and an archer — at a torchlit dungeon gate while a dragon's eye watches.

Chapter II

One more dungeon

Torchlit gates, a wizard who forgot the plan, a glorious party wipe — then laughing, regrouping, and trying again. Together is the whole point.

A sunny desk with a laptop showing a cheerful website, a grocery bag of snacks, a sandwich and a small telescope by the window.

Chapter III

Earth's small wonders

A sunny desk, a Publix snack break, a sandwich worth writing home about. The everyday joy tucked between cosmic questions.
